The story behind this mating is given under the Champions entry for Treasure's litter sister Ch Winuwuk Looking for Love
This really was a cracking litter and so when we had chosen the future Champions In The Name of Lust and Looking for Love, we offered next choice to our great friends Veronica Feaver and John Cormack. Veronica was in remission at the time and she wanted a new puppy to focus on. There were two lovely bitches to choose from and they went for Treasure who lived with Veronica and her family.
She won her first CC at Birmingham National in 2019 under Dr Tamas Jakkel and followed this up with a quick second at Southern Counties under John Williams from the Netherlands. Lockdown then stopped her show career and very sadly Veronica lost her battle with cancer in June 2021. This meant that she was robbed of being at a sunny Leeds in July 2021 where Treasure was awarded her 3rd CC by Sharon Fitzgerald, handled to perfection by John. Veronica may not have been there in person but we all felt her smiling down on us that day at Harewood House. Making it even more emotional for us, this was the 300th CC won in the UK by a Winuwuk Boxer.
Treasure also won a RCC in 2021 at the Midland Boxer Club under Helen Banks on the same day that her brother and sister won the DCC and BCC, making it a famous Winuwuk 'three-quarters'
